Creating PDF Files: 7 Tips for Working With PDFs

PDF files are very popular but can take some getting used to. Read here about creating PDF files and 7 tips for working with them.
PDFs are becoming more and more popular when it comes to sending and signing official documents.
Creating PDF files can be challenging if you’ve never done it before. However, after you create it there are all kinds of tips and tricks to help your creating process go smoothly. Here are a few of the best.
1. Translate the Files
One thing that can help you out is to translate the files that you receive. If they’re in a different language, thankfully there’s an easy way to be able to read it.
Google Translate will help you out on this one, and it can translate thousands of languages.
Open Google Translate in a web browser, and then you can hit the upload PDF button. After that, you’ll just have to choose what language you want it translated to and let Google do the rest of the work for you.
2. Combine Files
Another thing that can be helpful is trying to combine two PDF files.
In order to merge PDFs, you’ll have to use a Merger. If you are sick of skipping between two tabs or windows, this is a great way to have it all in one document.
In addition to figuring out how to combine the files, you can even compress them together so that they don’t take up as much space.
3. Rotate a Document
Sometimes you’ll have a document that is rotated the wrong way. In order to avoid having to flip your tablet or laptop screen, you can just rotate the file.
If you want to permanently rotate the image into the correct orientation, you’ll need an Adobe program. This will not only let you read the documents, but you can edit them as well.
Once you open the document in Acrobat Pro, go to “Document.”
Next, you’ll see an option that says “Rotate pages.” After you click on that, you’ll have the ability to rotate the document in whatever order you need to.
4. Double Compress PDF File
You can also compress PDF files if it’s too big. This is helpful if you’re trying to upload something or send it through email. Sometimes there are different requirements and limits for how big of a file you can send.
The great thing about compressing it is also that you can still keep the quality and size of your document.
To compress a file, use a program that zips PDFs. There are many different software programs you can use. Sometimes you can even compress it in one software and then compress it even more in another program.
5. Edit the File

Once you’ve created a PDF, chances are you’ll have to go back and edit it at some point as well.
PDF documents are easy to create and look at, but editing them is the difficult part. You’ll need a software program to achieve this.
Adobe isn’t the only program that will let you do it, so make sure you shop around to find the one that you’re most comfortable with using.
6. Protect it With a Password
If you have a PDF that has sensitive information, you can also protect it with a password.
It’s not always the most secure, but it can help keep some people out. When you protect it, you’ll have to make sure you give the password to everyone who will need access to it.
Like the other tips, there are several programs that can help you put a password onto your file.
If you have Microsoft Word you can password protect it from there. To do this, go to “Save as” and choose PDF.
Before you save, you should see a box that says “More options.” Once you select this, you’ll see a box that says “Encrypt document with a password.” You’ll have to type your password in twice to make sure it’s correct, and then you can save it.
After you do that, you’ll have to type in a password to open up the PDF again.
7. Sign It
Lastly, you can also sign your document. This can be incredibly helpful since now many official documents are sent as a PDF.
Of course, you can always print it out, sign it yourself, scan it, and then reupload it. But this is so much more work.
If you have the correct software, you can sign the document yourself right then and there. However, you do need to know that there are two different signatures.
There is an electronic signature, which is a picture of your signature that you just paste into the PDF. A digital signature is more complicated and is often encrypted.
Electronic signatures are more common, so to do that, just open your PDF. Next, click the “Fill and Sign” button. After that, you’ll see an “Add signature” button.
You can then either upload a picture of your signature or draw one onto the PDF. Once you’ve done that, make sure you save it.

Manually pulling data from different sources and spending a lot of time on boring, repetitive tasks can be tiring. This is where a data extraction SDK can help. These powerful tools can streamline your business processes, saving time and money while increasing accuracy and efficiency. Also, file uploaders make it easy to send the extracted data to other systems and platforms, which speeds up the process even more. Traditional data extraction methods require significant time and resources, and businesses often rely on manual data entry or outdated software, leading to errors and inconsistencies. This article will talk about how powerful data extraction SDKs are and how they can change how your business works.
Benefits of Using Data Extraction SDKs
Data extraction has become a vital part of daily activities in the business world. Manual data processing, however, takes a lot of time and is prone to mistakes, which can be a big problem for companies. However, these issues can be overcome with the help of data extraction SDKs. This lets companies streamline their processes, reduce the number of mistakes made by hand, and save time and money.
Streamlining Business Processes
Data extraction SDKs automate the extraction of data from various sources. This can include emails, PDFs, and invoices, among others. By automating these processes, businesses can save time and reduce manual labor, which can be used for more critical tasks. Also, data extraction SDKs give businesses accurate and reliable data that can help them make better decisions and be more efficient overall.
Reducing Manual Errors
Data extraction SDKs can help reduce manual errors. When employees manually extract and organize data, there is always a risk of error. For example, they may accidentally enter incorrect data or misplace important information. With data extraction SDKs, however, businesses can significantly reduce these risks. These tools are made to extract and organize data quickly and accurately, reducing the chance of making mistakes by hand.
Saving Time and Resources
Businesses can save time and money by using data extraction SDKs. This is one of the most important benefits. With data extraction SDKs, businesses can automate these tasks, freeing up employees to work on more important tasks. Besides, these tools can help businesses save on costs associated with manual data extraction, such as labor and software.
How to Integrate Data Extraction SDK into Your Business Processes
Integrating a data extraction SDK into your business operations may seem difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. It can be an easy and seamless process with the proper strategy and careful planning. To guarantee a successful integration, you could follow the given steps:
Decide which data extraction SDK will best meet your company’s requirements after first identifying those needs. You should consider the type of data your company uses, the amount of data that needs to be pulled, and how much automation is required. Once you know your needs, you can look into services that provide data extraction SDKs that satisfy those needs.
When conducting provider research, looking for companies with a solid track record of producing top-notch solutions and offering top-notch customer support is critical. You can read evaluations and customer testimonials to evaluate their standing in the industry.
Request a sample or demo of a provider’s data extraction SDK before deciding. This will help you better grasp the tool’s features and determine if it will work well for your company.
After deciding on a provider and tool, thoroughly plan the integration. Determine which data sources will be combined, if the data will be gathered in a centralized location, and the storage options. Consider collaborating with the supplier to guarantee accurate and seamless integration.

Netgear R6400 Nighthawk AC1750 Review

The Netgear R6400 AC1750 router is an “oldie but a goodie” model that still holds up quite well today. It can again smoothly run circles around some of the current-gen models within its price range. In general, the Netgear R6400 is part of the mid-range router crowd and can provide decent numbers in terms of its performance.
Main Features
Media Source: netgear.com
- AC1750 Wi-Fi (450+1300 Mbps)
- Dual-Band
- Beamforming+
- Gigabit LAN (x4) Gigabit WAN (x1)
- 2.0 and 3.0 USB port
- Nighthawk Netgear Genie App compatible
- Echo and Alexa support
- Design
The Netgear Nighthawk AC1750 is identical in design to its predecessor, almost beat by beat. That’s not a flaw, as the R6300 model had this visually striking sleek and futuristic aesthetic. The wide base will take up a considerable amount of space on your desk or shelf, but you also have the option of mounting the router to your wall, so limited space is not an issue here.
The front panel sports a dozen LEDs that display the status of the router. This is undoubtedly one of the most LEDs we have encountered in a router. It can also be a little distracting when all twelve are blinking like Christmas lights. You can turn off the LED, though, if you wish for a more “quiet” approach.
This unit features two USB ports with the 3.0 port on the front while the 2.0 is at the back. It utilizes three antennas that are attached to the back end of the device. The antennas are also relatively thicker than the previous model, which helps improve the Beamforming+ feature.
However, these antennas are only adjustable and cannot be replaced as they are fixed to the unit. Keep this in mind as a broken Netgear R6400 AC1750 antenna will require you to repair the entire unit itself rather than merely replacing that particular part.
Setup Guide for Netgear R6400 Nighthawk AC1750
As with all new Netgear routers, the Nighthawk R6400 AC1750 delivers that user-friendly signature quality that helped propel the brand to the upper echelons. With the installation wizard, all you need is to click and wait for it to automatically setup your network router. This is a must as not everyone is well-versed in setting up their internet network at home.
The router interface appears to be quite rudimentary to the point of looking outdated. We also had cases wherein the interface didn’t correctly work if you are using specific web browsers to access it, specifically with Google Chrome.
Setting up the Quality of Service setting also feels limited as you can’t select a specific device to prioritize their bandwidth allocation. That being said, the parental control delivers excellent customization and control.
Functionalities and Features
The Netgear R6400 AC1750 model provides the standard processors that are found within the majority of their routers, except for their higher-end models. The R6400 AC1750 comes with a 1GHz processor alongside a 256MB RAM with 128MB flash. This is a pretty standard router technology with units that are within the AC1750’s price bracket.
When it came to throughput speed performance, the R6400 router performed quite smoothly. It also managed to maintain its speed relatively better from a distance of over 10 feet away compared to other dual-band routers. Barriers and walls affected its range as expected, but it did manage to hold a decent number.
The R6400 unit uses an 800MHz dual-core processor, the Broadcom BCM4708. The unit rarely accumulates considerable heat due to the excellent ventilation on the case, which should prevent any overheating issues down the line. We tested it all day long in a non-airconditioned room it barely exceeded temperatures that you would consider worrisome.
Like all Netgear routers, this one also utilizes the convenient Netgear Genie app that lets users access their router’s system via smartphone. This app also makes sharing videos and music to other devices within the network to be extremely easy. The Netgear Genie app is quite useful when it comes to doing maintenance on your system.
When it comes to the AC1750’s speed and stability, it managed to clock in an impressive 524Mbps max connection speed. It led to maintain decent rates even at a distance of 10 feet to 25 feet away with only a slight dip.
Further speed testing showed that the router dipped down to 196Mbps at 25 feet away without any obstructions. With walls in between, the speed averaged at 182Mbps. This is a pretty good number for a router with this price tag. However, at an even greater distance, the rate went down to 20Mbps. With these tests, we consider this router to be a suitable device for medium to larger homes.
The router also hits impressive numbers with its file transfer rate, thanks to the 3.0 USB connection. The Netgear R6400 A1750 is a perfect example of how improvements should be handled with next-gen iterations. It far exceeds what its predecessor managed to deliver on all fronts.
For a budget-friendly router, the Nighthawk R6400 AC1750 certainly delivers in surpassing expectations of routers within its price range.
Pros:
Sleek design and perfect for use in limited space rooms thanks to its ability to be mounted to the wall.
Stable and top-notch 802.11ac speeds.
Solid Wi-Fi range.
Excellent NAS performance.
Cons:
The web browser interface looks and feels dated.
Conclusion
Overall, the Netgear R6400 Nighthawk AC1750 will satisfy those looking for the right balance between price and performance. The router delivers superb range and speeds. If you are working on a tight budget, you might want to check this router out. While it is a mid-range router, it is at the lower end of that spectrum, and it offers a full range of features that will make that couple extra bucks worth it.
